Volunteer opportunities:

Recycle valuable native plants
The Native Plant Salvage Program collects native trees and shrubs from construction sites to be used to restore wetlands and streambanks throughout King County.

Salmon Watchers
Our dedicated volunteers watch for fish on their assigned creeks two times a week from September through December.

Lake Stewardship Program
Trained citizen lake monitors volunteer their time to help collect information on the lakes of King County. Our monitors serve as the eyes and ears of the Lake Stewardship Program, alerting staff to problems and interesting events on their individual lakes.
